The SolarEdge Technologies Power Optimizer is a DC/DC converter connected to each panel in a photovoltaic system, turning them into smart modules.
Thanks to continuous Maximum Power Point (MPP) tracking for each individual solar module, Power Optimizers can increase the system’s energy production.
Each SolarEdge power optimizer is equipped with the unique SafeDC™ feature, designed to automatically reduce the DC voltage of the panels to a safe level whenever the inverter or grid power is shut down (except when connected to a StorEdge inverter operating in backup mode).
