The new Sunny Tripower 60 is part of an innovative global system solution for commercial and industrial photovoltaic systems. This solution combines the advantages of a decentralized system architecture with the benefits of central inverter designs, in order to leverage the best of both worlds. The philosophy of the new system
Four components constitute the new SMA system solution:
- A high-efficiency SUNNY TRIPOWER 60 inverter.
- Combiner Boxes that contribute to installation flexibility.
- The central SMA Inverter Manager.
- The LCS commissioning tool.
The SMA Inverter Manager, as the central communication component and sole interface for the entire system control, handles all important inverter and system management functions for up to 42 inverters in one system (up to 2.5 MW). The external Combiner Boxes create the connection between the PV string and the inverter.
