KOSTAL PLENTICORE MP G3 – Upgraded and better than ever!!!

The 3rd generation PLENTICORE (PLENTICORE G3) allows you to always have the right device available and exactly the amount of power you need.
The PLENTICORE MP G3 can operate as:

• A standard solar inverter.
• Hybrid inverter.
• Battery inverter (energy storage inverter).

As a solar inverter, it efficiently converts solar energy into usable household electricity and reliably supplies it to all consumers. As a hybrid inverter and energy storage inverter, it temporarily stores self-generated photovoltaic energy in a connected battery system. Finally, in the event of a power outage, the PV installation does not stop operating, as thanks to its backup power function, the PLENTICORE MP G3 can continue supplying electricity to the household across all three phases.

A unique feature of the KOSTAL PLENTICORE MP G3 is its innovative scalability, which allows the inverter’s output to be increased by up to two power levels per unit size. In the PLENTICORE MP G3 M, the power levels are 4.6 kW / 6 kW / 7 kW.
Thanks to this capability, the design and installation process of a PV system is simplified, from the retailer and installer to the end customer. In other words, the PLENTICORE G3 always meets current power requirements, either at initial installation or later on, without the need to replace the unit or purchase a new one.
This makes it a smart, sustainable, and flexible solution.

Excellent choice for battery storage operation.

The PLENTICORE MP G3 can be installed as a hybrid inverter or as an energy storage inverter for both new systems and upgrades of existing systems. For this purpose, the third DC input is used to connect a high-voltage battery. The PLENTICORE MP G3 is compatible with a wide range of battery manufacturers.
Many energy storage systems feature a modular design and offer different options and advantages. Thanks to DC coupling of the battery combined with modern high-voltage technology, conversion losses in the PLENTICORE system are very low.
KOSTAL consistently demonstrates the excellent performance of its systems by participating in storage system testing conducted by HTW Berlin.

Now also with backup power functionality.

The 3rd generation PLENTICORE also features backup power functionality. In combination with the KOSTAL BackUp Switch and a connected battery, the system’s power supply is ensured in the event of a grid outage.
In the event of a power failure, the KOSTAL BackUp Switch is manually switched to backup mode. Electrical energy is then supplied either by the customer’s own PV system or by the connected battery storage system.

Sector integration with KOSTAL Solar Electric

The PLENTICORE MP G3 is a modern inverter that ensures full utilization of the potential of existing and future PV systems. The generated solar energy is used for the operation and smart control of high-power consumers such as wallboxes, air conditioners, heat pumps, or heating systems.
In addition, it comes equipped with 2 LAN ports, an integrated WLAN interface, and 4 digital outputs as standard. This enables the connection and intelligent control of PV system consumers. Other digital interfaces, such as Modbus TCP and SG Ready, further contribute to the integration of additional loads.
Finally, through the KOSTAL Solar Portal and the KOSTAL Solar App, free monitoring of the PLENTICORE MP G3 is available.
