BYD HVS 7.7 kWh Battery-Box Premium / High-voltage energy storage battery for all applications
The new generation BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS 7.7 kWh is based on well-established memory technology and retains all previous functionalities. The Battery-Box Premium HVS is a battery module with higher storage capacity than its predecessor. Further development of cell technology has reduced the system weight by nearly 30%. It also has a reduced installation depth of 8 cm. At the same time, the new devices feature a more streamlined design. One of the key highlights is that the new storage systems have an IP55 protection rating, allowing outdoor installation and use.
The BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS series batteries are more flexible and expandable. With the new generation, it is possible to connect up to three battery towers in one system. Each battery can also deliver its nominal capacity as power output—i.e. 1C. This makes the new series ideal for on-grid systems, on-grid plus backup systems, and off-grid systems.
The One Battery-Box Premium HVS system consists of 2 to 5 HVS battery modules connected in series, providing a usable capacity of 5.1 to 12.8 kWh. In addition, directly connecting up to 3 identical Battery-Box Premium HVS towers in parallel allows a maximum capacity of 38.4 kWh. Finally, the system is fully scalable, as additional HVS modules or parallel stacks can be added at a later stage.
