BYD HVM 22.1kWh Battery Box-Premium / High-voltage storage battery for all applications
The new generation of BYD Battery-Box Premium HVM 22.1 batteries is based on the well-known memory cells and incorporates all previous functionalities. The Battery-Box Premium HVS is a battery unit offering higher storage capacity than its predecessor. Further development of cell technology has reduced the system’s weight by almost 30%. The construction depth has also been reduced by 8 cm. Concurrently, the new devices feature a more streamlined appearance. A key highlight: The new storage systems boast an ‘IP55 protection rating’, enabling outdoor use.
BYD Battery-Box Premium HVM storage batteries are more flexible and expandable. With the new generation, it is possible to connect up to three battery towers in one system. Each battery can also deliver its nominal capacity as power – i.e., 1C. This makes the new series ideal for on-grid, on-grid plus backup, and off-grid systems.
One Battery-Box Premium HVM consists of 2 to 5 HVS battery modules connected in series to achieve a usable capacity of 5.1 to 12.8 kWh. Additionally, the direct parallel connection of up to 3 identical Battery-Box Premium HVS units allows for a maximum capacity of 38.4 kWh. Furthermore, scalability is possible by adding HVS modules or parallel HVS stacks later.
