BYD HVM 19.3 kWh Battery-Box Premium / High-voltage energy storage battery for all applications
The new generation BYD Battery-Box Premium HVM 19.3 is based on well-established memory technology and retains all previous functionalities. The Battery-Box Premium system offers higher storage capacity than its predecessor. Further development of cell technology has reduced system weight by nearly 30%. It also has a reduced installation depth of 8 cm. At the same time, the new devices feature a more streamlined design. One of the key highlights is the IP55 protection rating, which allows outdoor installation and use.
BYD Battery-Box Premium HVM storage batteries are more flexible and expandable. With the new generation, it is possible to connect up to three battery towers in one system. Each battery can also deliver its nominal capacity as power – i.e., 1C. This makes the new series ideal for on-grid, on-grid plus backup, and off-grid systems.
One Battery-Box Premium HVM consists of 2 to 5 HVS battery modules connected in series to achieve a usable capacity of 5.1 to 12.8 kWh. Additionally, the direct parallel connection of up to 3 identical Battery-Box Premium HVS units allows for a maximum capacity of 38.4 kWh. Furthermore, scalability is possible by adding HVS modules or parallel HVS stacks later.
