Victron MultiPlus 12/3000/120-16 / Hybrid Inverter for Off-Grid Photovoltaic Systems
The MultiPlus, as its name suggests, is a combined inverter and charger in one elegant package. Among its many functions, it includes a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, PowerAssist hybrid technology, plus integration functions for multiple systems.
PowerAssist: A Unique Feature
The MultiPlus will prevent overload of a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection. Initially, it reduces battery charging to prevent overload. Secondly, it boosts the output of a generator or shore power supply with power from the battery.
Uninterrupted AC Power Supply (UPS function)
In the event of a grid failure, or interruption of shore power or generator supply, the MultiPlus automatically functions as an inverter and takes over the supply of connected loads. The reaction time is immediate (less than 20 milliseconds). This ensures that computers and other electronic equipment continue to operate without interruption.
Virtually Unlimited Power Thanks to Parallel Operation
To achieve higher power output, up to 6 MultiPlus units can operate in parallel. Three-phase or split-phase operation is also possible.
Remote Monitoring and Control
In combination with a GX device (e.g., Cerbo GX), you can monitor and control the MultiPlus and your system(s) locally (LAN) or remotely via the Internet from anywhere in the world, using the free VRM app and the free VRM portal website. Access can be made via phone, tablet, laptop, or computer for multiple operating systems.
