EPsolar MPPT photovoltaic charge controllers ensure battery longevity in an off-grid photovoltaic system. They are ideal for both residential use and commercial applications with higher demands. They support all types of photovoltaic panels (polycrystalline, monocrystalline, CIS, thin film) and all types of batteries (lead-acid, gel, AGM open and sealed types).
The integrated display allows visual monitoring of all system indicators, and thanks to the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm, the system’s efficiency is increased by up to 30%.
The advanced MPPT algorithm helps reduce the number of missed MPPs (maximum power points), as well as the time lost for correction. Due to its high efficiency and tracking speed, the MPP is adjusted very quickly in order to extract the highest possible power from the photovoltaic modules at any given time.
The power and charging current limiting function, as well as automatic power reduction, protect the system when photovoltaic power is too high or during high temperatures.
The adjustable 3-stage charging curve, based on a digital control circuit, allows maximum battery lifespan and increased system efficiency.
With the load relay and the central/grid or generator control relay, it is possible to easily create a hybrid energy system.
Comprehensive electronic protection against overcharging, deep discharge, reverse polarity, etc., ensures a safe and stable solar system.
The isolated RS-485 interface with standard Modbus protocol and 5V power supply makes system expansion easy. It supports up to 8 charge controllers in parallel operation. This enables a very wide range of applications, from caravans to single-family homes and large systems.
