Brand new, with unprecedented performance, Li.ON ESS supports applications ranging from residential and industrial to integrated energy storage solutions.
The SUNLIGHT Li.ON ESS 5.12 kWh (51.2V–100Ah) combines low weight, high capacity at deep discharge levels, and a large number of charge–discharge cycles, among other features. It is an excellent choice for both off-grid and grid-connected photovoltaic systems.
Key features of the storage system:
- Full-charge storage capacity of 5.12 kWh and a charge–discharge cycle life of over 4,500 cycles (at 80% DoD).
- High charging rate (0.5C–C) and high depth of discharge (around 80%) without reducing the battery’s lifespan.
- Use of LiFePO₄ technology, which ensures stable performance in harsh conditions and prevents environmental pollution from toxic materials.
- Optional ventilation or battery maintenance (e.g., fluid topping-up).
- Power unit based on Active BMS (Battery Management System) technology that provides:
- Balancing while the battery is in full operation,
- Ensuring energy transfer without losses, with 10% savings.
- Increased charging efficiency and up to 30% longer battery lifespan.
- Display unit (Telecommunication Box) through which monitoring and management of more than 45 parameters can be performed (voltage, temperature, SoC, etc.).
- Ability to connect to an existing Energy Management System (EMS).
- Ability for remote system control and resolution of most faults.
- Ability to remove an individual module in case of failure without shutting down the entire battery system.
- The capacity can be expanded using a corresponding cabinet (up to 7 batteries → 35.84 kWh).
