One-stop solution
The SMA EV Charger can be easily integrated into the SMA Energy System, which consists of a solar power system with an SMA inverter. All components are perfectly matched, and the system can also be expanded, for example with a battery solution. The Sunny Home Manager 2.0 centrally monitors all energy flows, automatically identifies savings potential, and enables efficient use of solar energy.
The wallbox is equally suitable for integration into new systems as well as for expanding existing installations. This highly intelligent system always takes all household loads into account during charging and prevents overloading of the home connection. The automatic adjustment of charging power (even when multiple loads are active simultaneously) ensures smooth operation at all times. This means users always benefit from the maximum available power allowed by both the home connection and the vehicle.

Faster charging thanks to boost function
The SMA EV Charger uses a combination of grid power and generated solar energy to enable full single-phase charging with up to 22 kW – delivering almost twice as fast charging compared to conventional systems. The integrated phase balancing feature ensures compliance with national limits for unbalanced load.
