Commercial and industrial (C&I) applications in Brazil
In May 2023, a food processing plant in Brazil implemented an energy storage system by installing five Dyness PowerRack HV4 battery clusters. This energy storage project, with a capacity of 307 kWh, provides backup power, contributing to energy savings and the overall operation of the facility.
Specifically, due to the high power consumption of the factory’s production line, issues with load fluctuations, the low efficiency of the photovoltaic system, and insufficient power supply from the grid, there was a need to strengthen and upgrade the PV installation.
For this reason, a customized energy storage solution was added to the system, which not only increases energy capacity but also supplements the power required for the efficient operation of the factory during peak periods.
At the same time, Dyness’s EMS + BMS system, which monitors and optimizes energy production and consumption, provides intelligent management that increases revenue from photovoltaic generation while simultaneously reducing carbon emissions.
Dyness addresses grid overload issues in the Netherlands.
In the first half of 2024, Dyness, in collaboration with local partners in the Netherlands, installed multiple C&I energy storage projects across the country in a short period of time. One of the most representative cases involved a bowling club in Purmerend, which adopted the Dyness DH200F energy storage system, ensuring a reliable power supply while also reducing its operating costs.
The bowling club operates from the afternoon until midnight, serving food, drinks, and more. As a result, it has high electricity demand during peak hours. However, difficulty in accessing the grid made its normal operation problematic.
Before the project was installed, the owner relied on diesel generators for power supply, which operated noisily and emitted polluting gases. With the implementation of this energy storage project, the club achieved significant energy savings and a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions.
Innovative energy storage solutions by Dyness in Tenerife
In April 2024, Dyness, in collaboration with a local partner, delivered an energy storage project for a supermarket in order to help reduce operating costs and support its sustainable transition. This project is a 215 kWh energy storage system implemented using Dyness’s all-in-one DH200F product, designed to enhance the efficiency of solar energy use and significantly contribute to self-generation and self-consumption.
The project enabled the supermarket to increase its solar energy usage ratio to over 90%, up from the initial 56%, while ensuring a stable power supply for refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, and electric charging, thereby covering its daily operational needs.
