The BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS are high-voltage storage batteries for all applications, suitable for 1-phase and 3-phase systems, featuring a flexible modular design and parallel connection capability.
The new generation of BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS storage systems includes all previous functionalities. The BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS is a battery module that offers higher storage capacity than its predecessor.
Further development in cell technology has reduced the system’s weight by almost 30%. The installation depth has also been reduced by 8 cm, meaning less floor space is required. At the same time, the new devices feature a more streamlined design.
One of the key highlights is the IP55 protection rating, which allows the storage systems to be used outdoors as well.
The BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS storage batteries are more flexible and scalable. With the new generation, up to three battery towers can now be connected within one system.
BYD remains consistent in terms of charging and discharging performance. Each battery can also deliver its nominal capacity as power output — meaning 1C performance.
This makes the new series ideal for on-grid systems, on-grid plus backup, and off-grid applications.
A BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS consists of 2 to 5 HVS battery modules connected in series to achieve a usable capacity ranging from 5.1 kWh to 12.8 kWh.
In addition, direct parallel connection of up to three identical Battery-Box Premium HVS systems allows a maximum capacity of 38.4 kWh.
The system is scalable, enabling further expansion later by adding additional HVS modules or parallel HVS stacks.
