With the introduction of the new Net-Billing scheme (energy and financial offsetting), HEDNO S.A. informs interested parties that it now accepts connection applications for RES & CHP stations under synchronized offset (net billing) and virtual synchronized offset (virtual net billing) across the entire territory.
The following are instructions for submitting applications by distribution network:
- Mainland Greece and the islands interconnected with it (including Crete):
Through the electronic platform, which requires login via the GSIS, exclusively using the applicant’s TAXISnet credentials.
- Non-Interconnected Islands:
Exclusively by electronic means, with the submission of the required supporting documents. For all islands listed in the table below, applications must be submitted to the central email address: [email protected]

The above apply within the framework of Ministerial Decision ΥΠΕΝ/ΔΑΠΕΕΚ/93976/2772 (Government Gazette 5074/B/05.09.2024) “Amendment and replacement of the under reference ΥΠΕΝ/ΔΑΠΕΕΚ/15084/382/19.02.2019 ministerial decision ‘Installation of generation stations by self-producers with application of energy netting or virtual energy netting in accordance with Article 14A of Law 3468/2006, as applicable, and by Energy Communities with application of virtual energy netting in accordance with Article 11 of Law 4513/2018’ (Β’ 759).”
On Tuesday 08/10/2024, a further announcement will be issued regarding the acceptance of applications for:
- Stations with energy storage systems
- Net-Billing stations for joint self-consumers (apartment buildings)
- self-consumer stations owned or managed by a third party
