New partnership between KOSTAL and Dyness batteries

The PLENTICORE PLUS/BI inverters by KOSTAL are now also compatible with the Dyness Tower ESS battery system.

In order to ensure smooth compatibility with battery storage systems, heat pumps, and other devices, KOSTAL continuously expands its partner network. In line with this approach, it announces the completion of testing carried out with Dyness grid-connected battery systems and the full success of the resulting compatibility.

Efficient KOSTAL inverter and flexible Dyness battery.

Dyness specializes in the production of lithium-ion batteries for use in energy storage systems. The Dyness Tower ESS battery is capable of storing excess energy from renewable sources and delivering it when needed. In addition, it features an IP54 protection rating and a modular design, allowing it to be expanded and adapted according to your specific requirements. The KOSTAL PLENTICORE plus hybrid inverter and the KOSTAL PLENTICORE BI inverter-storage system are fully compatible with Dyness T7, T10, T14, and T17 models.

The combination with the PLENTICORE plus (IP65) or PLENTICORE BI (IP65) model offers the possibility of using up to five battery modules of the Dyness Tower ESS for even greater storage capacity. The storage sizes can be easily adapted thanks to the busbars and the modular design of the batteries, allowing you to quickly obtain an estimate of the level of self-sufficiency you can expect. Depending on the configuration, the voltage range of the Dyness Tower varies between 192 and 480 V. In combination with the BI, it can deliver a charging and discharging power of 5 to 10 kW, depending on the model and the number of battery modules. In the case of the PLENTICORE plus 3.0–10, the values range between 2.5 kW and 6.2 kW.

All aspects of the PLENTICORE series

The PLENTICORE plus, as a hybrid inverter, is the ideal solution for a range of different installation configurations. Connection to the Dyness Tower is carried out very easily and simply. The hybrid inverter provides power from 3 to 10 kW, and when connected with two or more units, it can ensure even greater output. With its dynamic control capability, the PLENTICORE plus can deliver the maximum possible amount of self-generated electricity at the right time.

Similarly, the PLENTICORE BI inverter-storage system is also a truly powerful solution, capable of reaching output levels of 5.5 and 10 kW, with an input current of 26 A. This makes the inverter-storage system an ideal choice for expanding an existing photovoltaic installation.

Note:

KOSTAL inverters of the PLENTICORE series can be used in combination with the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter, while in the case of a single PLENTICORE plus, the KOSTAL Energy Meter can be used, directly with the Dyness battery storage system.

The KOSTAL AutoUpdate function automatically installs all software updates (including those related to previous inverter models), enabling easier control of compatible batteries—without any further action required from the customer. Simply enable automatic updates once, and your system will always remain up to date.
