First, it reduces the battery charge to avoid overload. Second, it boosts the output of a generator or shore power supply with power from the battery.  <\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<h4 class=\"productDetails__block-title\"><strong><span class=\"productDetails__block-title-content\">Uninterrupted AC Power Supply (UPS Function)<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<div class=\"productDetails__block-description\">In the event of a grid failure, or loss of shore power or generator supply, the MultiPlus automatically operates as an inverter and takes over the supply to the connected loads. The response time is immediate (less than 20 milliseconds). This way, computers and other electronic equipment continue to operate without interruption.  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<h4 class=\"productDetails__block-title\"><strong><span class=\"productDetails__block-title-content\">Virtually Unlimited Power Thanks to Parallel Operation<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<div class=\"productDetails__block-description\">To achieve higher power output, up to 6 MultiPlus units can operate in parallel. There is also an option for three-phase or split-phase operation. <\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4 class=\"productDetails__block-title\"><strong><span class=\"productDetails__block-title-content\">Remote Monitoring and Control<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<div class=\"productDetails__block-description\">\n<p>Combined with a GX device (e.g., Cerbo GX), you can monitor and control your MultiPlus and system(s) locally (LAN) or remotely via the Internet from anywhere in the world, using the free VRM app and <a href=\"https:\/\/vrm.victronenergy.com\/landingpage\"> the free VRM portal <\/a>website. The second output is only active when AC is available at the input of the MultiPlus.
