Tigo Energy MLPE delivers the highest level of safety for a large commercial and industrial solar installation in central Spain through the Green Glove quality program. Specifically, Tigo Energy<\/a> (NASDAQ: TYGO), a leading provider of intelligent solar software solutions, announced that the globally recognized engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company Constructora San Jose, S.A. selected Tigo as the provider of rapid shutdown technology for a 142MWp ground-mounted industrial solar installation in Spain.
Tigo\u2019s reliable Rapid Shutdown functionality is essential for providing fire safety to system owners and eliminates the risks associated with high-voltage DC electricity during operation, maintenance, or emergency situations. <\/p>\n

The system, which will generate clean energy to help meet the demands of local industry and feed excess energy back into the public grid, will include more than 107,000 Tigo TS4-A-2F MLPE<\/a> devices and will produce over 142MWp. The project also includes more than 550 Tigo RSS transmitters featuring Pure Signal technology, which eliminates interference in PLC signals from adjacent cable routes and improves the efficiency of system communication functions in large and complex installations. <\/p>\n

Tigo TS4-A-2F<\/a> is a reliable and cost-effective rapid shutdown solution for two-module systems that complies with the latest module-level safety requirements, including NEC 2017\/2020 standards. The TS4-A-2F is IEC and UL certified for global acceptance and also carries UL-PVRSS certification for compatibility with the industry\u2019s broadest inverter network.
Constructora San Jose, S.A. selected the TS4-A-2F to support the 670W modules used in the project, which is scheduled to be under construction during the second half of 2024, with operations expected to begin in the first half of 2025. <\/p>\n
